Thanksgiving Holiday Closures from Nov 28, 2024 01:00 PM to Nov 30, 2024 11:00 AM — Freeport District Library,
The library will be closed over the Thanksgiving holiday from Thursday, Nov. 28th through Saturday, Nov. 30th. We will reopen on Monday, Dec. 2nd at 1pm.
Holiday Closure, December 25th and 26th from Dec 25, 2024 09:00 AM to Dec 26, 2024 08:00 PM — Freeport District Library,
We will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25th and Thursday, Dec. 26th. We will reopen on Friday, Dec. 27th at 9am.
New Year's Holiday Closure Jan 01, 2025 from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM — Freeport District Library,
The library will be closed Wednesday, January 1st for the New Year's holiday. We will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd at 1pm.
2nd Tuesday Book Club Jan 14, 2025 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM — Freeport District Library,
On the second Tuesday of each month at 2pm, the library's book club meets to discuss a book. Members take turns selecting and leading the discussion of the book they have chosen. The selected books are provided by the library for the members to read ahead of the next meeting. If you are interested in joining the discussion, stop in at the library to pick up the next month's book.
2024/25 Library Board Meetings Jan 23, 2025 from 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM — Freeport District Library,
The library board meets the 4th Thursday of each month from September through May. The only exception is there will be a combined November & December meeting this year on Thursday, December 5th at 7pm.
2nd Tuesday Book Club Feb 11, 2025 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM — Freeport District Library,
On the second Tuesday of each month at 2pm, the library's book club meets to discuss a book. Members take turns selecting and leading the discussion of the book they have chosen. The selected books are provided by the library for the members to read ahead of the next meeting.
